🌱 Young Farmers Club: Growing Skills for the Future
The Young Farmers Club at Dee Best Legacy School is a practical and educational club designed to introduce students to the basics of agriculture and environmental responsibility. The club helps students understand the importance of farming, food production, and caring for nature while developing useful life skills.
Members of the club take part in hands-on activities such as crop planting, soil preparation, garden maintenance, and simple farm record keeping. Through these activities, students learn how crops grow, the value of patience and consistency, and the role agriculture plays in everyday life and the economy.
The Young Farmers Club also encourages teamwork, leadership, and responsibility. Students work together on projects, share tasks, and learn to respect the environment. These experiences support what they learn in Agricultural Science and help them develop practical knowledge beyond the classroom.
By participating in the Young Farmers Club, students gain skills that promote self-reliance, environmental awareness, and a deeper appreciation for food production. The club prepares students not only for academic success but also for real-world challenges, making agriculture meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable.
